Focus rear ventilation flap issue

I had a similar issue with my 2016 Opel Astra, although it's petrol. The climate control was acting crazy, blowing hot air when it should be cold, and vice versa. Check the basic connections to the flap motor itself. That's where my problem was.

In my Astra, the connector pins were corroded, and one had backed out of the connector housing. It was hard to spot. I think you should get a diagnostic from a workshop for the Ford Focus. It will be worth the money.
