No recent work has been done. The brake pedal feels stiffer than usual. Could this indicate the pressure sensor is faulty and requires replacement?

A stiff pedal coupled with the error codes and symptoms does strongly suggest a faulty pressure sensor impacting the brake booster function. While it's possible to replace the sensor yourself, given the importance of the braking system, it might be best to have a workshop take a look. Vehicle safety is important.

Thank you for the advice. I visited a local workshop, and they confirmed the pressure sensor failure. Replacement and system check cost 90€. The issue is now resolved.

That does sound concerning. Have you recently had any work done on the braking system, like new pads or a fluid change? Incorrect bleeding can definitely cause issues with the brake booster, leading to sensor errors and reduced braking performance. Is the brake pedal feeling spongy at all?
