Ford Edge Damping Adjustment Fault

Hi, I have a 2018 Ford Edge with a diesel engine and 90752 km on the clock. I'm experiencing a damping adjustment fault. The error is stored in the error memory, and the warning light is on the speedometer. The ride feels bumpy. From what I've read, it could be a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone experienced something similar?

I have an Edge too. I had a similar issue with the suspension a while back. Was the bumpy ride constant, or did it only happen at certain speeds or on particular road surfaces?

It seems to be more noticeable at lower speeds and on uneven surfaces. The car handling feels generally off. What was the fix for yours?

Sounds like the same problem I had. I suspected something with the shock absorbers too. Honestly, I couldn't diagnose it myself, so I took it to a workshop. They found a faulty connection as you suspected.

Thanks for the confirmation. I'll take it to a shop and have them check the connections. Estimate I received was around 95€. Hopefully, that resolves it.
