Ford Edge Tire Pressure Sensor Fault

Hey, I'm getting a weird error on my 2021 Ford Edge diesel. The display says tire pressure is too low, and there's an error message in the speedometer. Plus, I checked and there's an error stored. Could it just be a sensor?

Summary of the thread

A 2021 Ford Edge diesel displayed a tire pressure warning and error message, despite the tires being properly inflated. The issue was identified as a faulty tire pressure sensor, likely due to a dead sensor battery. The recommended solution was to have the sensor checked and replaced at a workshop.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Sounds familiar. I had something similar happen with my Edge. You checked the tire inflation, right? The sensors can be super sensitive. Could also be the air valve. Any recent tire work?

Yeah, tires are fine, I checked them myself. No flat tire. So, what was it on your Edge? Was it the sensor?

Yep, turned out to be the sensor. Seems like the battery died. I'd get it checked at a workshop, they can confirm the fault.

Thanks! I'll book it in. Turns out you were right – sensor battery was dead. Cost me 280€ to replace.
