Ford F Engine Stalling Fuel Pump Error

My 2008 Ford F with a gasoline engine won't start and sometimes stalls at idle. The check engine light is on, and the engine runs rough with higher fuel consumption. Error memory shows a fuel pump error. I checked the connection but found no issues. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Hey, I have a Ford F as well and had similar symptoms. The engine stalling was the worst, right? Did you check the fuel injectors or just the pump itself? It might be related to a faulty cable or plug connection.

Thank you for your reply. I only checked the pump connection. Could you please specify which cable connections I should inspect more closely?

Okay, so, I'm not a total expert, but yeah, mine turned out to be a bad connection. I'd suggest checking all the wiring around the fuel pump and also the fuel injector connections. But honestly, it might be worth taking it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed. They have better tools for that kind of thing.

Thank you for the advice. I followed your suggestion and took the car to a workshop. Indeed, it was a defective cable connection. Repair cost was 95€. Now it runs smoothly again.
