Ford F GPS Reception Issue

No visible damage that I can see. I'm not really sure where the GPS module is located to check any further. Could the antenna be corroded internally without any external signs?

Corrosion inside the antenna is possible, like rust in a water pipe. It blocks the signal even if it looks okay from the outside. Given the symptoms and lack of visible damage, the antenna is the most probable culprit. A workshop visit is recommended to confirm it.

Thanks for the advice! Took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. The GPS antenna was indeed defective. Repair cost was around 200€. Replaced it, and the GPS is working perfectly now.

Sounds like a classic case of antenna failure. GPS modules are usually pretty solid. Think of it like a bad cable connection on your TV – the signal's just not getting through. Have you checked for any visible damage to the antenna or the cable?
