Ford F Overvoltage Issue

I'm getting overvoltage faults in my 2014 Ford F gasoline. Lots of system failures, weak starts, and general electrical problems at 246774 km.

Sounds like a power surge, I had similar issues with my Ford F. Check the battery and alternator output. My symptoms were very close to yours.

Was the overvoltage also from a weak battery? Did any protection trip, or was it a bigger failure?

Yes, a dead battery was the cause. I hoped it would be easy, but the electrical issues kept coming back. Get it checked by someone qualified, since it can damage the electronics. Mine cost 290€ to repair.

Thanks, I'll take it to a shop for a diagnosis. I think it's the battery too. This has helped me figure things out.
