Ford F Solar Sensor Fault

I'm losing it! My 2023 Ford F with a gasoline engine is throwing a solar sensor fault. The error is stored, and now the heater's putting out zero heat. Could it be the cable or a plug, like I suspect?

I had similar heating issues in my Ford F, though I didn't check the error memory. Did you check the sensor's cable and plug connections for any obvious damage or corrosion?

Corrosion, huh? Where exactly is this solar sensor hiding, and what am I looking for, specifically? Any chance it's something else entirely?

It's the daylight sensor on the dashboard, and yes, it could be something else. But given the error code and the heating issue, the sensor cable is the most likely cause. But I would suggest going to a workshop.

Thanks a bunch for the advice. I went to the workshop, and it turned out to be exactly what you said – a dodgy cable connection. Cost me 95€ to get it fixed. Appreciate the help!
