Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, I did use a scan tool. It pointed to something about a defective cable connection in the control unit, related to the BUS system. Did your issue involve anything like that?

Yep, that sounds very familiar. It turned out to be a faulty cable connection to the control unit. While it might be tempting to try and fix it yourself, I'd recommend taking it to a trusted workshop. They can properly diagnose and repair the connection. It could save you a lot of headaches.

Thanks a million for the advice! I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. Defective cable connection to the control unit. Repair cost me 155€. Glad it's sorted now.
