Ford F Windshield Washer Heater Issue

Yeah, I checked the washer motor connections, they seemed fine. The motor is working normally, it's just the heating element that isn't doing its job. In your case, did you ever figure out what the cause was with your BMW? Was it also the heating element, or something else?

I never really got to the bottom of it. I suspected the heating element too but it was so annoying I gave up trying to fix it myself and took it to a workshop. They fixed it pretty quickly, so maybe that's an option for you?

Okay, thanks. I booked an appointment at the shop. You were right: faulty plug connection. Cost me 95€ including parts and labor.

Interesting. I had something similar happen with my old BMW 3 series. The washer fluid would freeze on the windshield! I never got an error code though, just useless frozen nozzles. Did you check all the connections to the washer motor itself?
