Thanks! Can you elaborate on what makes you think the cable issue is a misread? Is there a way to verify the mount is bad before I replace it?

Okay, so engine mounts usually fail mechanically – the rubber degrades and cracks, causing excessive engine movement and those vibrations you're feeling. A 'defective cable' is less common for mounts themselves. While electrical issues can mimic some symptoms, the uneven idle points strongly towards a failing mount unable to properly dampen the engine vibrations. It is likely reporting some knock because of the vibrations or the vibrations are affecting a sensor. Honestly, with 193,514 km, it's probably time for new mounts anyway. Visual inspection can sometimes confirm; look for cracks or sagging in the rubber. But honestly given the cost and symptoms, your best bet is to take to a workshop.

Appreciate the insight! I visited the workshop today. You were spot on; it was the engine mount. The repair cost was 95€. All is good now!

Whoa, uneven idling with that error code SCREAMS motor mount. Those rubber mounts are notorious for degrading, especially with nearly 200k km on the clock. The 'defective cable' thing is probably a misread. Vibration issues are classic symptoms of worn engine or transmission mounts because they are designed to dampen engine vibrations. How many kilometers are on it?
