Ford Flex Infotainment Speedometer Errors

Hey, my 2012 Ford Flex with a gasoline engine is throwing a fit. I've got 184546 km on it and suddenly I'm seeing error messages popping up on the infotainment system and the speedometer. Plus, it says there's an error stored in the error memory when I hook up a diagnostic scanner. Any ideas? Could it really be the coding of the vehicle being off somehow?

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had something similar happen in my Flex. Check engine light was on, and it felt like the car's brain was having a meltdown. Is your car acting like a confused GPS, too?

Confused GPS is a great way to put it! What exactly was it on your car, and what did you do to fix it? Was it really a coding issue?

Yep, turned out the control module needed a reflash. Like a software installation gone wrong, messing with the car's perception. Bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. They'll sort it out faster than you can say 'malfunction indicator'.

Thanks a bunch! Workshop visit confirmed. Apparently, the car's coding was indeed messed up – cost me 360€ to get it sorted, but now it's running smooth! Appreciate the heads-up!
