Ford Fusion Hybrid High Voltage Error
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid experienced a high-voltage system error, causing the engine to shut off and power to reduce. The issue was suspected to be related to a discharged battery. A similar case suggested checking the voltage sensor, electrical wiring, or inverter. Ultimately, the problem was confirmed to be a battery issue, which was resolved at a workshop.

Thank you for your reply. How did you resolve the problem? Was it difficult to diagnose, like finding a needle in a haystack?

In my case, the battery was heavily discharged and likely defective. I recommend you take it to a workshop. They can properly diagnose the issue, perhaps a faulty voltage sensor or a damaged inverter. Better safe than sorry.

I appreciate the advice. I took the car to a workshop, and it was indeed a battery issue. The repair cost 290€. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

I had a similar issue with my Fusion Hybrid. It sounds like the car's electrical system is acting up. Have you checked the voltage sensor or the electrical wiring related to the high-voltage system? It could be as simple as a loose connection, or potentially a problem with the inverter.
