A vacuum leak, huh? Interesting. Where exactly was the leak, and did it throw any specific codes?

Didn't catch any codes myself, but the garage did when they hooked it up. Honestly, couldn't tell you exactly where it was. Best bet is to get it checked out by a shop, they'll find it quick.

Turns out you were right, it was a vacuum leak causing the MAP sensor to go haywire. Cost me 235€ to get it sorted. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Sounds familiar. I've got a G6 too. Had similar issues a while back. Have you checked for any vacuum leaks? That was the culprit in my case; big vacuum leak.
