Ford G6 lights switching on randomly
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Ford G6 is experiencing an issue where the lights switch on randomly, and an error is stored. The problem may be related to the light switch, fuse box, or cable connections. Checking the fuse box for blown fuses or bad connections is suggested, but if the issue persists, visiting a workshop for a thorough diagnostic and repair is recommended.

Thanks! I haven't checked the fuse box yet. Where is the fuse, and what should I look for besides a blown fuse? Are there relays for the car lighting that might be the problem?

I remember! Replacing the fuse didn't fix it. The problem was the cable or plug connection. Visit a workshop. They'll check the connections and use diagnostic tools. It cost me around 95€, and it was worth it.

Thanks for sharing! Since it's complex and a new fuse might not fix it, I'll go to my local workshop. It's good to know it can be fixed, and it shouldn't cost too much. Thanks again!

I had a similar issue with my G6, though I don't remember when. Electrical problems are annoying. Did you check the fuse box? A bad fuse or connection can cause lighting issues. Check simple things first. A fuse box protects circuits with overcurrent protection devices. If the current exceeds the fuse's rating, it breaks the circuit.
