Indeed, the engine's performance has been noticeably compromised, similar to what you described. Could you elaborate on the issue you encountered? Were the symptoms identical, and what actions did you take to fix it?

Yeah, sounds like the same problem. I'm no mechanic, but I'd bet on that sensor. Best to get it checked at a workshop, they'll sort it quickly.

I appreciate your insights. Following a diagnostic evaluation, the exhaust back pressure sensor was indeed identified as defective and replaced at a cost of 245€. The issue is now resolved. Thank you for your assistance.

Hey, I drive a Ford Galaxy too! I had something similar happen a while back. Is the car's performance down too? Mine felt like it was trying to run through treacle. It sounds like it could be the same thing.
