Ford Galaxy OBD2 Readiness Check Incomplete

Hoping someone can help with my 2001 Ford Galaxy diesel. It's only done 61052 km. I recently had it plugged into an OBD2 reader, and now the system readiness check is incomplete! I've got an error stored and an error message keeps popping up. Has anyone else experienced this? What could have caused it?

I had something similar happen with my Ford Galaxy after doing some diagnostics. Did you try resetting the computer? Sometimes that clears it.

Resetting the computer, huh? How exactly does one go about doing that? Is it something I can do myself, or am I looking at a trip to the workshop?

Yeah, sounds like the same thing. Honestly, while you might find a way to do it yourself, for peace of mind, I'd suggest a quick vehicle inspection at a workshop. They'll have the right tools to properly reset everything and check for any underlying issues.

Thanks a lot for the advice! Turns out, the error cleared itself after a few drive cycles. The readiness check is now complete, and the error message is gone. The vehicle inspection confirmed that everything is working as expected. Repair cost: 0€!
