Ford GT Airbag Fault

My 2004 Ford GT with a gasoline engine has an airbag fault. The airbag warning lamp is on in the speedometer. I suspect it's a bad connection somewhere. Anyone seen this before?

Yeah, could be a bad clock spring. Any recent work done on the steering or column?

Nothing done recently. Where exactly should I be looking for the defective connection?

Without pulling codes, it's tough to say exactly. Could be under the seat, in the steering column, or even the airbag ECU itself. Better take it to a workshop for diagnosis.

Thanks. As suspected, a defective plug connection. Repair cost was 95€
