Yeah, pretty similar symptoms: random error messages, the works. I recall reading somewhere that these cars can be quite sensitive to even small voltage fluctuations. I´d suggest getting the car scanned to pinpoint that battery sensor for sure before you replace anything.

Thank you for the input! My local workshop confirmed it was a defective battery sensor. The repair cost 315€. I'm glad it wasn't a full battery replacement!

That sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my old BMW – constant low battery warnings and weird electrical glitches. It wasn't the battery, but some faulty sensor messing with the charging system. Check that before replacing the whole battery itself. Is anything drawing an unusual amount of power?
