Ford GT bumpy ride error

I've encountered a bumpy ride with my 2023 Ford GT gasoline. There's an error stored and a warning light. It has 94991 km. Could this be suspension tuning or a damping adjustment fault? I suspect a defective cable or plug connection.

Summary of the thread

A 2023 Ford GT experienced a bumpy ride and warning light, potentially due to suspension tuning or damping adjustment issues. The suspected cause was a defective cable or plug connection. After taking the car to a workshop, the problem was confirmed to be a faulty plug connection, which was repaired, resolving the issue.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old BMW 5 series. Same symptoms: bumpy ride, warning light. Turned out to be a faulty connection in the adaptive suspension. Might be worth checking the wiring.

When you mention checking the wiring, could you provide a bit more detail? Specifically, were there any particular areas or components of the adaptive suspension wiring that were more prone to failure in your experience with the BMW?

Not really, it's best to check all connections. But honestly, with those symptoms on a GT, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. Could be more complex than just a loose wire.

I took it to the workshop, and you were correct. The issue was indeed a defective plug connection, as suspected. The repair cost was 95€. Everything is running smoothly now!
