Ford GT Coolant Loss
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Ford GT is experiencing coolant loss and a check engine light, with an error code indicating low coolant. Initial checks should focus on the radiator cap, coolant reservoir, and hoses for leaks or cracks. If these components are intact, further investigation may be needed, such as a pressure test at a workshop, to identify potential issues like a faulty thermostat housing or, less desirably, a head gasket problem.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Mileage is at 147361 km. I'll check the cap, reservoir, and hoses. If those look okay, what else could cause coolant loss? Could it be the head gasket?

Head gasket is a possibility, but hopefully not. If the cap, reservoir, and hoses are fine, I would suggest taking it to a workshop. They can pressure test the system to pinpoint the leak. I ended up with a faulty thermostat housing, which cost me 52€ to get fixed.

Thanks for the advice! I checked the easy stuff and didn't find anything obvious, so I'll take it in to the shop and have them do a pressure test. Hopefully, it's something simple like your thermostat housing.

I had a similar coolant issue with my GT. First thing I'd check is the radiator cap and the coolant reservoir for any cracks or leaks. Also, inspect the radiator hoses. Is your mileage high?
