Ford GT Engine Overheating

Alright GT gurus, I'm pulling my hair out here. My 2022 Ford GT, gasoline engine, is acting up with only 76427 km on the clock. The engine's overheating like crazy! I suspect it's the electric fan. What else could cause engine overheating, besides the fan motor simply giving up?

Sounds frustrating! I had a similar overheating issue with my old Alfa Romeo. It turned out to be a dodgy connection in the cooling system. Ever checked the cable or plug connection to the fan motor? Just a thought!

Dodgy connection, huh? Where exactly was the defective cable located on your Alfa Romeo? Was it obvious, or did you have to dig around to find it?

On the Alfa, it was right at the plug going into the fan motor itself. Needed a good eye to spot it. The plug seemed okay at first glance but was corroded inside. Best bet is to get it checked at the workshop, I think.

Thanks for the tip! You were spot on. Took it to the shop, and it was indeed a defective connection in the cooling system. The cable and plug to the fan were faulty and had to be repaired. Cost me 95€, but at least she's running cool again!
