Ford GT Error Codes

Interesting... Incorrect coding? So, the factory messed up when programming the car's computer? Could that really happen? And if so, is there anything I can even do about it myself, or am I totally at the mercy of a mechanic with a fancy computer?

Well, it's possible it came from the factory that way, sure, but more likely something happened along the line maybe during a service or upgrade? Either way, you're probably looking at needing someone with the proper diagnostic tools to delve into the car's software. It's like trying to fix a broken phone without knowing the password. Best take it to the workshop, so a professional can fix it.

Okay, that makes sense. Thanks for the insight; I appreciate you sharing your experience! I'll book it in at the service ASAP. Turns out, you were spot on with the incorrect coding! The workshop reflashed the ECU, charged me 360€, and everything seems to be working fine now. Thanks again!

I had a similar issue with my old Audi A4, although the symptoms weren't exactly the same. Mine was a 2018 diesel. The errors kept popping up, even after clearing them with a diagnostic scanner. After a lot of digging, it turned out the root cause was incorrect coding of the vehicle's computer. It's like the car's brain was speaking a different language than its body. I'd suggest you rescan it with a better scan tool to get an idea of what the error code means
