Ford GT Headlight problem
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Ford GT is experiencing a headlight issue where the low beams are improperly adjusted, either too low or too high, and a warning light appears on the speedometer. The problem is identified as a fault in the headlight range control, likely due to a defective servomotor in the headlight assembly. The suggested solution is to visit a workshop for a professional diagnosis and replacement of faulty components, specifically the servomotor, to resolve the issue.

Yeah, the OBD code reader shows a fault in the headlight range control. And no, the beam doesn't seem to adjust at all when I start the car. It's like it's frozen in place. What was your similar issue like?

Okay, that does sound very similar to what I experienced. In my case, it turned out to be a defective servomotor in the headlight assembly. The control module wasn't getting the right signals, and the motor itself was shot, like a fuse that's blown. Given your symptoms, I'd say it's time to visit a workshop. They can properly diagnose the issue and replace the faulty components. Expect to pay around 1040€ for the repair. They will probably check the lighting system, electrical connectors and beam adjustment, so it's better to have a professional doing it.

Thanks a lot for the insight. I really appreciate you sharing your experience. I'll take it to a workshop and mention the servomotor. You saved me a lot of time. That's exactly what it was, now everything is working as expected!

Hey there, I've got a GT myself, though I haven't seen this exact issue. It sounds like your auto-leveling system is on the fritz. When you say 'error memory,' are you referring to an OBD code? And does the beam adjust at all when you start the car, or is it just stuck?
