Ford GT Outside Temperature Sensor Fault

Yes, I've visually inspected the wiring harness and connections near the sensor, but I haven't performed any detailed electrical testing. Could you elaborate on what you did to diagnose the problem with your GT? Was it also a wiring issue, or something else entirely? I am trying to figure out how to approach the issue.

In my case, it turned out to be a corroded connector. Visually, it looked fine, but upon closer inspection, there was significant corrosion inside. I would suggest cleaning the contacts thoroughly or, if necessary, replacing the connector entirely. However, given the array of issues you are experiencing, it might be wise to consult a workshop. They can perform a proper diagnostic check and pinpoint the exact cause. It could save you time and potential frustration.

I took your suggestion and visited a workshop. As you suspected, it was indeed a corroded connector on the outside temperature sensor, which was causing all of those errors. They cleaned the connector, and everything is working perfectly again. The total repair cost was 95€. I appreciate you sharing your experience; it was a great help!

I had a similar issue with my GT, although not exactly the same symptoms. If I remember correctly, the outside temperature reading was completely off, causing some related systems to malfunction. Have you checked the wiring harness and connections near the sensor itself? Sometimes corrosion or a loose connection can cause these kinds of problems.
