Ford GT power window failure
Summary of the thread
A 2005 Ford GT experienced a power window failure after a battery replacement, with an error indicating window regulator initialization failure. The issue persisted despite checking fuses, the window switch, and the door panel. The suggested solution was to perform a reset or recalibration using a Ford diagnostics tool. This approach resolved the problem after a workshop reinitialized the regulator.

Nope, windows were working perfectly fine before I swapped the battery. That's what makes this so infuriating! Did your problem occur after you changed something?

No, mine was just a random failure. Given yours happened right after the battery swap, and you've checked the basics, it sounds like it needs a proper reset or recalibration that only the Ford diagnostics tool can do. I would bring it to a shop.

You called it! Took it to a workshop; they reinitialized the regulator, and now all good! Cost me 290€ though. Thanks for the advice!

Had similar window issues on my GT, just not after a battery change. Was it doing that before?
