Ford GT power window failure

Alright GT gurus, I'm pulling my hair out here! My 2005 Ford GT, gasoline engine, with a measly 38841 km on the clock, is throwing a fit. Replaced the battery, and now the power windows are completely dead. Error's logged in the system, something about the window regulator initialization failing. I've checked the fuses, window switch, even pulled the door panel, but I'm stumped. Anyone seen this weirdness before?

Had similar window issues on my GT, just not after a battery change. Was it doing that before?

Nope, windows were working perfectly fine before I swapped the battery. That's what makes this so infuriating! Did your problem occur after you changed something?

No, mine was just a random failure. Given yours happened right after the battery swap, and you've checked the basics, it sounds like it needs a proper reset or recalibration that only the Ford diagnostics tool can do. I would bring it to a shop.

You called it! Took it to a workshop; they reinitialized the regulator, and now all good! Cost me 290€ though. Thanks for the advice!
