Ford GT rough running
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Ford GT is experiencing rough running, almost misfiring, with the check engine light on, occasional stalling at idle, and jerking during acceleration. The issue was suspected to be related to the ignition system, particularly the ignition coil connections. After diagnosis, it was confirmed that a defective ignition coil was the cause, and replacing it resolved the problem.

Thanks for the quick response. Were your symptoms exactly the same, and did replacing the coil pack resolve the issue completely?

Yeah, pretty much identical. Replacing the coil pack sorted it out. However, given the expense, I'd suggest getting it properly diagnosed at a workshop just to be sure. Could be something else in the ignition system. Better safe than sorry.

Understood, I appreciate the advice. I had it diagnosed. It was indeed a defective ignition coil, just as we suspected! Repair cost was 95€. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

Sounds familiar. I've got a Ford GT and had similar symptoms a while back: rough running, stalling, the whole bit. Have you checked the spark plugs? A faulty coil pack could definitely be the culprit, especially with those symptoms.
