Ford GT Vacuum Leak
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Ford GT with a gasoline engine is experiencing poor engine performance, a check engine light, and excessive fuel consumption, likely due to a vacuum leak. The symptoms include struggling at idle and reduced engine response, suggesting a manifold pressure sensor issue caused by the leak. The recommended solution is to have the vehicle inspected and repaired by a professional, which resolved the issue by replacing the faulty sensor.

Struggling at idle? A little, yes. How did you solve it? Was it a simple fix, or did you have to take it to a shop?

If it's stumbling at idle, and you're experiencing all those symptoms, I'm pretty confident it is a vacuum leak causing your manifold pressure sensor to wig out. While you could try hunting for the leak yourself, I just bit the bullet and took mine in. Best decision I made.

Thank you! I took your advice and brought it to a workshop. It was indeed the manifold pressure sensor, likely due to a large vacuum leak. They replaced the sensor for 235€, and it's running like new again! Thanks for the help!

Sounds like what happened to my GT a while back. Is it struggling at idle too? If so, I'd wager it's a vacuum leak somewhere. It's like trying to drink from a straw with a hole in it – the engine isn't getting the air it needs, messing everything up.
