Ford Ikon Overvoltage Errors

I'm having an overvoltage issue with my 2001 Ford Ikon (gasoline engine). The car's computer is showing overvoltage errors, systems are failing, and the battery struggles. Has anyone encountered anything similar? It feels like I am driving a car with poltergeists.

Hey, I had something kinda similar with my Ford Ikon. Not sure what year mine is, but yeah, weird electrical stuff happening. Might be the battery, they can cause all sorts of havoc when they're on the way out. Feels like your car is haunted by gremlins, right?

Indeed, a gremlin infestation seems a most apt description! Could you perhaps elaborate on the specifics of the electrical maladies you experienced? Were the symptoms analogous to mine – the overvoltage errors, the faltering systems? Any further insight would be greatly appreciated, as I am rather desperate to resolve this perplexing predicament.

Yeah, I was getting random errors, lights flickering, the radio cutting out. It was a mess. I'd get it checked out by a professional, probably best not to mess with electricals unless you really know what you're doing.

I consulted with a qualified technician. The battery was indeed the root of the problem, exhibiting a severe discharge and internal defects. The repair, encompassing a new battery and associated diagnostic procedures, amounted to approximately 290€. The vehicle is now functioning optimally, free from the spectral gremlins that once haunted its electrical system. Thank you again for your assistance.
