Thank you for your response. The fault code indicates a potential configuration issue with one of the vehicle's control modules. Did your issue also stem from incorrect coding?

Yep, pretty much! Turned out the ECU needed a reflash. Seriously, just take it to a decent workshop. They'll sort it quicker than messing around yourself.

Understood. I appreciate the advice. I've taken it to a local workshop; you were spot on – the car required a re-coding of the ECU. The repair cost 360€. Thanks again for your help!

Hey there! I had a similar issue with my Ka. Check engine light was on, and the control module was throwing a fit. Was a proper pain. What fault code did the scan tool pull up?
