Yes, the engine is hard to start, especially when it's cold. What did you do to fix it?

Ah, the cold start issue! Mine did the same. To be honest, I'm not very mechanically minded, so I took it straight to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly. Given your symptoms, I'd recommend doing the same. Could save you a lot of headache!

I took your advice and consulted a technician. They found a defective cable connection to the fuel filter heater. Replacing the cable cost 95€. The car is running well now. Thanks for your help.

That sounds frustrating! I had something similar happen with my Ford Ka, though I can't remember the exact year. My car was acting like it was constantly running on fumes, even after filling up. It felt like trying to run a marathon with your shoes tied together. Is yours struggling to start, especially when it's cold?
