Yes, I visually inspected the wiring, but didn't notice anything obvious. When you say "similar situation", do you mean the oxygen sensor heater failure as well? And if yes, how did you solve the issue with your Opel Astra?

Yes, I experienced the oxygen sensor heater failure too. After some troubleshooting, the root cause for my Opel Astra was indeed traced back to a faulty sensor connection. However, I must advise that fiddling with the air-fuel ratio and exhaust system without proper diagnostic tools can be risky and potentially cause further damage. As such, I would suggest a visit to the workshop.

Thanks for confirming and the cautious advice! I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. Turns out it was the sensor connection. 95€ later, the problem is solved!

That's quite the puzzle. Reminds me of a similar situation I encountered with my old Opel Astra, although the car brands are different. The error codes and symptoms are very similar. Have you checked the sensor's wiring harness for any obvious signs of damage or corrosion? Sometimes it's just a matter of a loose connection.
