Ford Ranger Blower Motor Issue
Summary of the thread
The blower motor on a 2016 Ford Ranger is not working, and a faulty AUC sensor is suspected, possibly due to a defective cable or plug connection. A similar issue on a BMW was resolved by replacing the faulty sensor. It is suggested to have the AUC sensor professionally diagnosed and potentially replaced to fix the blower motor issue.

Just the blower motor not working, no strange smells. If it was the AUC sensor on your BMW, what exactly was the fix?

Well, on the BMW, I messed around with it for ages, trying to find loose connections. I eventually gave up and took it to a workshop. They said the sensor was faulty and replaced it. Maybe it's worth having yours checked?

Understood. I appreciate the advice. I will take it to a mechanic and have the AUC sensor diagnosed properly. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Hey! That sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my old BMW 3 series. The climate control went nuts! Is it only the blower, or are you getting weird smells too? Maybe the auto recirculation isn't working right.
