Ford SMAX engine malfunction

My 2020 Ford SMAX with a gasoline engine is giving me headaches. Check engine light's on, power's way down, and the engine feels like it's choking. I'm also hearing a whistling and loud hissing when I accelerate, plus the engine is stalling like crazy at idle. Fuel consumption has gone through the roof. Anyone else experienced this nightmare? Could it be the boost pressure actuator fault?

Sounds familiar. I've got an SMAX too and had similar symptoms. Is it also struggling with poor engine response?

Spot on, the engine response is terrible! What was the culprit in your case?

Turned out to be a defective electrical bypass valve. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. It could be the same for you.
