Thanks for the quick response! How did you diagnose the problem on your car? Were the symptoms exactly the same, and did you notice any difference depending on whether the engine was cold or warm?

My symptoms were pretty much identical. It turned out to be the injection nozzle. Cold start was definitely worse. I tried some fuel injector cleaner, but it didn't really help. Ended up taking it to a workshop; they confirmed it and replaced the nozzle. Cost me about 515€. I would advise going to a shop too, don't mess with it if you don't have the tools.

Appreciate the insight. I'll book an appointment with a reliable mechanic. I was hoping to avoid a costly repair, but it seems inevitable. Thanks again for sharing your experience!

I had similar symptoms on my Taurus. Have you checked for any misfires? Those can cause the rough idle and power loss. I would also consider the injection valve, maybe there is too little pressure and the gasoline is not atomizing correctly.
