Ford Transit Diesel: Overheating and Power Loss Issues

I own a 2020 Ford Transit with a 2.0 TDCi Diesel engine and 360,000 km on the clock. I've been experiencing several issues: the check engine light is on, there's a loss of engine power, and the vehicle shakes while idling. Additionally, the engine takes considerably longer to reach operating temperature. A peculiar problem occurs when I turn on the A/C and the engine is under load, such as going uphill with cargo; the car starts to overheat. However, if I switch off the A/C, the temperature remains normal. At lower RPMs, the engine doesn't seem to pull as it used to, almost as if something is holding back the power. There's also a strange, bad smell from the exhaust, similar to AdBlue. Could anyone provide insights into what might be causing these issues and potential solutions?

Start by checking the air filter and fuel filter for any blockages or dirt, as these can affect engine performance and cause power loss. A clogged air filter can also contribute to overheating issues when the engine is under load. If the filters are dirty, replace them and see if there's an improvement. Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions!
