Formentor TPMS Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Seat Formentor hybrid is experiencing a persistent tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) issue, where a low tire pressure warning is displayed despite correct air pressure readings from a manual gauge. The diagnostic error memory indicates a sensor fault, suspected to be due to a depleted sensor battery. The problem was resolved by replacing the faulty TPMS sensor and recalibrating the system, which cleared the error and restored accurate pressure reporting.

Yes, I did use a pressure gauge to perform a tire check, and the air pressure was correct. Was it definitely the sensor in your case, or could it have been something else? Did you also see an error message?

Yep, my Megane had the same symptoms: error message and all. After investigating, the workshop confirmed it was a faulty sensor. If you've already done a tire check and are still getting the error, I'd say it's very likely the sensor. Best to get it checked at a workshop.

Thank you for the advice and sharing your experience. After a tire check to make sure the air pressure was correct, I took the Formentor to the workshop. They diagnosed a faulty TPMS sensor due to a depleted battery, as suspected. The sensor was replaced, and after recalibration, the error is gone. The air pressure is being reported correctly. Total cost was around 280€.

Sounds like a TPMS issue. I had something similar with my old Renault Megane. Kept getting a low air pressure warning even though my tires were fine. Have you checked the pressure with a manual pressure gauge just to be absolutely sure?
