Fortuner Auto Temp Control Failure

2022 Fortuner diesel here. Mileage at 181154 km. ATC kaput, throws an error. Symptoms: auto temp control non-op, error stored, AC won't engage. Suspect a dodgy cable/plug on the interior temp sensor. Anyone seen this?

I had something similar with my Fortuner. Climate control went bonkers. Was yours doing anything weird before it completely died?

Weird how? Need specifics. Any noticeable fluctuations or just straight failure?

Straight failure, like yours. Had it checked, sensor error code. Replaced the sensor, problem gone. You should take yours to a workshop, it's a common problem.

Confirmed: faulty interior temp sensor. New sensor plus diagnostics set me back 95€. Sorted now.
