Fortuner central locking failure

Hi, I have a 2013 Toyota Fortuner (gasoline engine) with 34458 km. The central locking has stopped working completely. The doors can't be locked or unlocked using the remote or the button inside. I scanned for errors and there's something stored, but I suspect it's related. Anyone else experienced this?

I had a similar issue on my Fortuner. Was it completely dead? Like not even a click or a whir?

Yeah, completely dead. No sound whatsoever. Did yours throw up an error code too? What was the fix?

Mine was the same, totally unresponsive. An error code popped up as well. I tried a few things myself but ended up taking it to a workshop. They traced it to a defective cable or plug connection related to the central locking module. Check if that's the culprit.

Thanks for the info! I took it to a local workshop, and they found a faulty connector just like you said. Repair cost me 95€. Appreciate the help!
