Fortuner headlight washer issue

I've got a 2023 Toyota Fortuner with a gasoline engine and about 42908 km on the clock. Recently, the headlight cleaning system isn't working, and it seems like the windshield washer isn't spraying either. Any ideas? I've checked the fluid level, and it's fine.

Interesting. I had a similar issue with my 2018 Volvo XC60. The windshield washer and headlight washers stopped working simultaneously. In my case, it turned out to be a faulty pump relay. A relay is an electrical switch that uses a small current to control a larger current. If the relay fails, it can prevent power from reaching the pump. It could also be a defective cable connection to the pump, or a clog somewhere in the system. Have you checked the fuse for the washer system?

The pump relay location varies depending on the vehicle, but it's usually in the fuse box, either under the hood or inside the cabin. Consult your owner's manual for the exact location. As for the cable connections, visually inspect them for corrosion or damage. A multimeter can be used to check for continuity, but if you're not comfortable working with electrical systems, I would recommend taking it to a workshop. It will probably be a defective cable connection of the pump or a defective relay.
