Yeah, the collision avoidance isn't working at all. That's a good question about off-roading! I did take it on some dirt roads recently. So, what exactly did you do to fix your sensor? Did you clean it yourself, or did you take it somewhere? Was the process difficult?

In my instance, the collision avoidance system was also not working. If you were driving on dirt roads, that might have caused the sensor to get dirty. I would suggest taking it to a workshop to have it checked. There they can use diagnostic equipment to find out what is the exact reason for the error.

Thanks a lot for the help! I took it to the shop, and it turned out the sensor was indeed dirty. They cleaned it, and everything is working perfectly now. Cost me 45€, which is much better than replacing the whole thing! Appreciate the advice!

I have a Toyota Fortuner as well, and I had a similar problem a while back. Are you experiencing any issues with your collision avoidance system? It might be a problem with the sensor itself. If it's dirty, that could definitely be the culprit. Has the car been off-roading recently?
