If this defect is detected, it may lead to the following problems:
The cooling air flap system has the task of optimally regulating the temperature of the engine. This system consists of flaps that control the air flow through the radiator. When the engine is cold, the flaps are closed to reduce warm-up time and increase efficiency.
Once the engine reaches operating temperature, the flaps open to allow cooling air to pass through and dissipate engine heat. The system also helps control vehicle aerodynamics by reducing drag at high speeds. Sensors and control units are used to dynamically adjust the flap position to the engine's cooling requirements.
