If this defect is detected, it may lead to the following problems:
A rollover protection system is an active safety system used on convertibles and roadsters. On vehicles with a fold-out roll bar or extendable rear head restraints, the control unit or rollover sensor causes the protective device to extend.
In most vehicles, the rollover protection (roll bar) is located in the rear head restraints of the vehicle.Inside the head restraints is a strong spring that preloads the roll bar. If the vehicle detects a rollover, this spring is unlocked with the help of a strong electromagnet, causing the roll bar to extend.
