Freed immobilizer issue
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Honda Freed with a gasoline engine is experiencing starting issues, with the error memory indicating an immobilizer problem. The likely cause is related to the vehicle's anti-theft system, specifically the key programming. The suggested solution is to have the key reprogrammed at a workshop, which successfully resolved the issue.

Thanks. I only have the one key. Do you think key programming might be the problem? Did you have the same experience?

Yes, in my case the key programming was the cause. I'd suggest going to a workshop that can program keys to check and fix it.

Thanks for the help. Reprogramming the key fixed it. Total cost: 45€.

I have a Freed too, and had similar symptoms. Sounds like your anti-theft system may be the issue. Have you tried a spare key, if you have one?
