Thanks for the suggestion. Which specific fuse should I be looking at? Do you have a diagram, or know which one controls the locking mechanism?

Without seeing the exact error code, it's tough to pinpoint. But based on the symptoms, and especially the stored error, it's most likely a wiring issue. Checking the fuses is always good, but you may need a workshop to properly diagnose and fix it.

Thanks. You were right, a trip to the workshop confirmed it was a defective cable connection. The repair cost 95€. Problem solved!

Could be a defective cable or plug connection to the central locking component. Have you checked the fuses related to the security system?
