Freemont Tire Pressure ABS and Steering Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Fiat Freemont is experiencing a low tire pressure warning, ABS light activation, steering wheel shaking, and weak power steering. Despite correct tire pressure, these issues persist. The likely cause is a defective tire sensor or valve, which can disrupt the vehicle's systems. Replacing the faulty valve and sensor resolved the issues, restoring normal vehicle function.

The shaking is pretty consistent, but definitely more noticeable above 60 km/h. So, the sensor is sending bad data even though the actual pressure is fine? Did you have any steering issues?

Yep, that's the gist. The sensor goes haywire, the system throws a tantrum. On the Volvo, the stability control was also affected, so I wouldn't be surprised if the steering is linked. Get it scanned to confirm, but I'd bet a coffee it's a sensor. A valve problem is like a slow puncture. The car will sink gradually. I'd visit a workshop.

You nailed it! Took it to the shop, and you were spot on – defective valve. New valve, sensor replaced, and everything's back to normal. Cost me 280€, but it's worth it to have it running smoothly again. Thanks for the insight!

Sounds like a party you don't want to be at! I had a similar freakout with my old Volvo. Tire pressure warning, ABS going nuts... Turns out it was a faulty tire sensor screwing with the whole system. Is the shaking constant, or does it get worse at certain speeds?
