Battery sensor, huh? Where exactly is that located, and is it easy to check myself?

On my Astra, it was connected to the negative terminal of the battery. But honestly, I wouldn't mess with it too much if you're not comfortable. I ended up taking mine to a workshop, and they confirmed it was the sensor. Might be worth getting it checked out professionally to be sure.

Thanks! Took it to the shop, and you were spot on. Defective battery sensor. Cost me 315€, but at least it's fixed. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar! Had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra. It drove me nuts for weeks. Same symptoms: discharged battery, weird electrical issues. Did you check the battery sensor? That was the culprit for me.
