I haven't tried an alarm reset yet. Where exactly did you find the alarm controller on your Peugeot? Maybe the Freestar is similar.

Honestly, I never found it myself. Took it to a workshop in the end. They said it was a bad connection somewhere in the wiring. Cost me about 80€ back then. Might be worth checking with a mechanic if you're not comfortable tracing wires.

Thanks, appreciate the input! Sounds like a wiring issue is the most probable cause - I will take it to the workshop. Estimate for repair is 95€. Better leave it to the pros.

Had something similar on my old Peugeot 307. Alarm would just randomly go off, or sometimes not arm at all. Did you try resetting the alarm system?
