Freestyle hands free microphone failure

Oh man, that sounds familiar! I've got a Freestyle too, and I had something similar happen with my Bluetooth. Voice recognition was completely shot, and I couldn't use the phone through the car's audio system. Did you check the volume control while in a call to see if it was accidentally turned down?

Thanks for the quick response! I did check the volume controls, both on the steering wheel and the infotainment screen. No luck. The audio input seems completely disabled. Was your problem definitely the infotainment system?

Yeah, pretty sure it was. I messed with it for ages, trying to reset everything, but nothing worked. Eventually, I bit the bullet and took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was the infotainment unit and replaced it. It wasn't cheap!

Appreciate the confirmation. It's what I feared. Just got a quote for 815€ for a replacement. Seems I'll be without hands-free calling for a bit. Thanks again for the insight!
