Frontier door handle electronics issue

I had a similar problem with my Frontier. Keyless entry died and threw an error. Have you checked the wiring harness where it passes from the door into the body? That's a common spot for breaks.

Thanks for the tip! Do you recall if the break was obvious, or did you have to do some serious probing with a multimeter to find it?

I didn't find any broken wire. I'd say, go to the workshop. They should be able to diagnose the issue quickly and properly.

Cheers. Took it to the workshop, they diagnosed a bad connection in the door wiring harness, exactly as you suspected. 95€ later and it's fixed. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
